When I first started coming to St. James Health & Wellness Institute I came once a week.  Then I felt more comfortable after joining some classes and I have not met a trainer or instructor yet, that I have not thought was really great.


 I used to be 42 lbs heavier!  Working out really helped me lose the weight and gave me the motivation to keep coming. I have kept the weight off and now I come 5 or 6 times per week!


I also joined the run club and  

placed 2nd in my age group at my first race!


I love coming to this club!

I think it's a great place, I really do.

 I tell people about it all the time!


I have osteoarthritis in 6 places and I can really tell the difference when I don't come.  When I first came here I used a cane all the time and now I seldom need it.


I like the fact that the instructors are so knowledgeable.  I used to have a lot of trouble getting up and down from a chair.  Now I know how to get up.  


We're encouraged to do what we can and if we can't do it, just stop.

I wish I had started exercising when I first developed this problem because I would be in even better condition now.
